Blokes BBQ

  Friday all the guys headed down to Yatton park for a BBQ, ginger beer and games. We spent most of the day there and had so much fun. A fantastic way to end a good week.

Disco Time!

 We all had fun at the disco that Mark arranged for us!

Beach display

 Today I am making a beach themed display to brighten up the center. 

Magnetic blocks

Look at my awesome creation I made using the magnetic blocks! I kept adding more and more blocks to make it bigger and bigger.

Te Puna Quarry

 I had an amazing time with my friends at Te Puna Quarry - I loved going on all the walks.

Owl be seeing you

During my arts and crafts sessions I made a family of owls from pinecones.

 

Lania's!

 I love been able to visit Lania at her cafe, she makes the bomb hot chocolates!!!!

Latin dance!

  Today we were very lucky to have some Latin dance experts come to show us a variation of different dances. It was so fun!

Arohanuis #1 talent

 This afternoon I took out the "arohanuis got talent " with #1!! I had so much fun singing "the first cut is the deepest". I also enjoyed watching all my friends from Wilrose and tenure perform. 

Kati kati trip

 Last friday we went for a day trip to kati kati to see vitage cars it was awesome day out we saw 100 year old engine's and I got to ride in the old fords

building with magnets

 in my guys group session I enjoyed using the magnet blocks to build some cars.

Talent quest semi final

 today i sang in the greerton sing off for the talent quest and was voted the number one act. Tomorrow I will sing off against the other two centre's.

I love the farm

 I was so excited to go out to visit Roger and his family at the farm today. It was rapaki! (sunny).

I loved feeding the lamb and the chickens. 

Highland fling!

 Today we were very lucky to have some dancers come to do the highland fling for us at the centre. A mixture of Irish and Scottish traditional dances and songs. They were so talented and the costumes were beautiful.

Flowers for hospice

 Today I helped to make posies for hospice. They smell beautiful. 

Relaxing

 After lunch I decided to put the eye mask on and relax on the couch. I was sooo relaxed i almost fell asleep. Refreshed ready for the weekend. 

Floristry

 I enjoyed painting my flax flower this morning.

BBQ

 I had a great time at the BBQ 🍖. I ate sausages and played games with my friends in the sun 🌞 

Plummers point

I had a blast on the Plummers Point trip. Even though the rain cut it short, we still managed to have a picnic lunch next to the Marae and collected heaps of oranges, grapefruit and tangelos which we turned into juice. I did the sun dance to try make the rain go away!

Massage time!

 I enjoyed relaxing in the massage chair with the massage eye mask on and ocean sounds.

Feeling goooood

 This afternoon I got to try out our new massage chair. It was sooo nice I was so relaxed. I can’t wait to try out the eye massager and leg/foot massager. I could have fallen asleep.

i had so much fun helping to clean up the garden this morning.

Smelling Good

In my guys group session, I went out to the Chemist Warehouse to check out the latest in mens after shave. I went home smelling good. 

Unlocked party

Today we had a unlock party here at arohanui. we played pin the mask on the sleeping man, bean bag throw, "beer pong", and the cookie game with deliscious oreos. What a great day!

In Arts and Crafts I have been working on an art project to remember the COVID lockdown. I cant wait until I can party on Friday to celebrate being UNLOCKED.

Op Shopping

Yesterday at Op Shop I was sorting through the ball caps. I really liked a black one.

Chuggington!!!

I had a really good time in sensory building a huge train made out of magnetic blocks. It was seven wheels long! I called the train The Tame Wilson Train! I also watched a bit of my favourite show Chuggington! Chugga Chugga Chugga Chugga BEEP BEEP!!!

What a rip...

In my woodwork session, I had bought a dinosaur kit from the Op Shop and when I opened it I found it was a car! 

So I painted it red.
