Winning the Easter raffle!

Every year at Arohanui we have an Easter raffle. I was really awesome and sold tickets as well as donating some eggs. During our advocate meeting my friend Nigel picked my name out of the box and I won a huge box of awesome Easter treats!! I was so excited to take them home to share with my family and friends. Woohoo!! 

Plane build

I have busy working on my plane. I finished the tail and body and I will be working on the wings. I love using straws and all different colours. I tried to make it fly at this stage it nose dives :) 

Outing

I had an outing with Dee to Bethlehem. I got to see how big the new Kmart is. I also had the privilege to be the first person from the public to walk on the grass and flatten it around the new playground that is going up. 

Te Puna Quarry Park

I had a lovely time at Te Puna Quarry Park. We had morning tea at the dragon garden, I walked to the top of the water wheel, went for a short walk through the bush and saw lots of butterflies, sculptures and we got to climb on an old quarry machine.
