I really enjoyed our Xmas party, I went round and talked to everyone and danced lots

Today we went on google earth,we looked at towns in England and then found my friends house in Tauranga,New Zealand.

Christmas drama production

Today was our Christmas drama production.  I was the evil fairy.  It was lots of fun we sang 

It's of Christmas songs.

SPCA Op Shop

This afternoon I went to the op shop, it was cool. We got to help sort, price and tidy the toys.

Alphabet letters

This morning I've been working hard on my personal book, cutting out all the letters I need for headings from magazines. I'm a very good at spelling.

Creating music

I had fun with the keyboard during music, I made up some cool songs.😎

Balloon painting

It was soo much fun filling water balloons with paint,I then attached them to the canvas and piped them with pins it made a messy painting!

Historic village with my friend

We went to the Historic Village and my friend Roger and I thought these trees looked like they would be fun to play in

Kuirau park Rotorua

Had a lovely time at kuirau park Rotorua.  There was lots of bubbling mud pools, a huge pond that had heaps of steam we had to walk through.  We got to play at lots of playgrounds and had lunch at the lakefront.  It was really cool.

Computers

Today I helped to sort our files and find the email addresses.We checked for messages and planned some new ones to send.

Collecting driftwood

Had a lovely time collecting driftwood at maketu beach.  

Sailing pirate ships

Yesterday afternoon I went to the lake at yatton park to sail our pirate ships. It was a bit of excitement as they did not stay together very well.

Pirate boats

We have had lots of fun making our pirate boats.  I can't wait to sail them

Hamilton

My visit to the excite museum in Hamilton was filled with a lot of things I liked. I found the bike and the racing car super kool especially when I got to make my own car out of the Lego with all my friends.

Baseball match

Had lots of fun yesterday at the baseball match against Wilrose. I was so good at fielding.

Drama production

I was in the drama production yesterday it was Cinderella. I was the prince. I was cool my mum came to watch the play.

Renovation

This is my picture frame I made in one of my renovation groups.

James Bond

We had a James Bond photo shoot on Friday. An Aston Martin even turn up it was pretty exciting.

Cricket

In sports outing we are practicing cricket so we can have a match against Wilrose.

Happy birthday to me

On Wednesday I celebrated my birthday at Arohanui. I had a yummy chocolate cake.

Tramp Park

The Tramp Park was cool yesterday. I want to go back again.

Making burgers

I had an awesome time in cooking making delicious beef burgers. We fried some onions, grated some cheese and added lettuce, beetroot and tomato to make them extra tasty. Yum! 

Action packed day

I had an action packed day yesterday,I built a boat in art and craft in the morning.then I went off to drama to do lots of dancing and out for a swim with Roger and Matthew in the afternoon.

Personal books

I have been working hard in personal books making headings for all my pages and writting little stories about what I have been upto.

Basketball match

Today we had a friendly basketball match against Wilrose.  It was lots of fun.

Bacon and egg pies

I had a Fun time in cooking making healthy bacon and egg pies with whole grain bread instead of pastry. While the pies where cooking I looked in cooking books for ideas of recipes to cook over the next few weeks. I liked the cookies and cakes decorated with balloons and planes. 

Caterpillars

Had a really good time at the caterpillars show at Baycourt yesterday.  It was lots of fun.

Glow disco

On Friday we had a shared Lunch of pumpkin soup and then enjoyed a boggie down at the glow disco in the sensory room.

Boys afternoon out

Yesterday the boys took a trip out to Action Canvas and upholstery at the mount to see what they get up to in the work shop. we got to see some cool hot rods and even have a sit in them.

Bike riding

Had lots of fun bike riding out in Te puke.  We got to have lunch and a little time to play in the park.

Spray art fun

I enjoyed spraying the canvas ready for all our underwater creatures that we a making. 

Men's shed

Had a lovely afternoon with all the guys at the men's shed. We got to see everything they were making and all the toys that they had made.

Renovating

We finished our latest renovating project an awesome chalkboard with pencil frame

Classic flyers WWI Exhibition

We went to the classic flyers WWI Exhibition, called from Tauranga to the Trenches.  It was really cool we got to see lots of guns, pictures of tauranga after the war, I got to fly a jet, and go and sit inside a Royal Mail plane.  We stopped at the airport afterwards and saw a few planes landing and taking off.

My master piece

Yesterday in art I made this masterpiece out of canvas and crayon.

Bike riding

Had an awesome afternoon visiting Te puke studio and having a go on the random bike they have.  It was lots of fun.

Trip to M.O.T.A.T

Yesterday I had a cool time as we went up to Auckland to go to the Museum of Transport and Technology! we checked to all of the interesting buildings and displays, I LOVED the transport display with all of the cars, I sat in an old car, I tooted the horns, the bikes where neat too. I loved the earthquake simulator and got stuck into the technology and sensory equipment. My favourite part was taking a ride in the tram down to the Aircraft musum. On the way home I was stoked to have a yummy chocolate Sunday. I had so much fun!

McLarens Falls

We walked over the suspension bridge at McLarens Falls.  It was pretty high, but it was fun.  The bridge even wobbled. I also got to climb over some of the rocks with Bex.

Skyline Skyrides

We had a really cool day at skyline Skyrides yesterday. I really liked going up and down the gondolas.

Effects on the iPad

Trying out some awesome effects on the iPad pic collage app, thinking I'm looking pretty cool.

Drama production

I had a great time being apart of the drama production I was the shop keeper.

Marshalls Animal Farm

Yesterday we went to Marshalls Animal Farm, it was lots of fun.  We got to drive round in our vans and car like a wildlife safari.  We got to see lots of animals, some Tibetan yaks, Alama's, ostriches, horses, lambs, I even got to feed a reindeer 

PAPAMOA Hills

Yesterday we went up to the top of the papamoa hills was a long walk to the top but we made it!

My collage

Today in computers I was looking at trains on the computer. Then I went on the iPad and made a pic collage with lots of different pictures of trains and funny things I found. It was really fun making them all fit on the page.

Kontiki fishing

I went kontiki fishing on Tuesday, we caught lots of fish, some snapper, a gurnard, Kahawai, and a huge kingfish.

Karaoke

Yesterday I did karaoke with my friends. I sang all the songs, it was really fun.

Day at the beach

Had lots of fun with everybody at the beach.  We climbed over the rocks, looked for crabs, we found a few small ones, and had a picnic morning tea and lunch

Making melon mocktails!!

In cooking we made some really cool watermelon mocktails with fresh squished melon and Sprite Zero. We even made ice cubes with the left over juice. Yum!

Apple muffins

In cooking I made apple muffins they were delious 

The food pyramid

In cooking I had a really good time discussing the food pyramid. I had a very good knowledge of healthy eating and which category food belonged in.  My pyramid came out really cool!

Contiki fishing

It was cool to go fishing today, unfortuantly we saw a seagull dove down, we think the seagull stole our fish, hopefully we will catch fish next week
